About Us
Partying for a Purpose was started in 1997 in San Diego, California when Angela Brannon held the first Toy Drive in the San Diego's Gaslamp Quarter. She then continued to produce events yearly and donate all the proceeds and toys to her favorite charities. Raising tens of thousands of dollars and thousands of toys for needy kids, Partying for a Purpose events soon became the most popular charity events in San Diego.
In 2004, Partying for a Purpose became the official fund raising branch of the It's All About the Kids Foundation. The Foundation, founded by Angela Brannon and Shawn Heyl, creates programs to help over 1000 less fortunate children succeed. Since 2004, Partying for a Purpose has raised over $2.2 million dollars for It's All about the Kids.
Partying for a Purpose is also the preferred production company at the Playboy Mansion. For the last 7 years, Partying for a Purpose has produced 7 successful parties at the Playboy Mansion, where over a thousand supports have made their own dreams come true.
